SEOUL. THINGS TO LOVE.
Here and there, Seoul is more than beauty products for your face and surgical procedures. Being the most wired city in the region and also one of the most economically powerful places to live and visit, these little things about Seoul are going to make you crave for a come back:
My favorite. Good looking things seems to be on the DNA of South Koreans, from good looking people to good looking places. Every corner is a well-managed compound of things. Stores, public toilets, food counters, even the local corner stores are full of colors and proportion.
We all are a fan of well-educated people and I think is a key point when we travel alone because most of the time we tend to get lost. Oh well, no we all, but I do. So Seoul will surprise you with the kindness and the cheerful people can be.
ODD THINGS TO DO.
Ok. Doing scouting in the cities are nice, but my personal favorite thing is to do odd things. You don’t wanna go and see what other people are doing and have the same selfie on your IG. So I recommend you to look for fun/different things like the Racoon Coffee, the Poop Coffee or the Trick Eye Museum. If you are the one that loves karaoke or as we call it in China KTV, then you must go to the live Karaoke where people can see you from the street meanwhile you sing on a little cute room, you have also plenty of special food to eat. So this is a MUST for unconventional people.
Many cities don’t sleep, Seoul is one of them. If your time is short and what you want to take advantage of your trip at the fullest then do your souvenirs shop at night, markets are open until 4 am, many of them have little restaurants and local coffee shops to stop by so there’s no excuse to miss time.
Most of the big cities in Asia offer plenty of music, festivals and outdoors things to do. One of the things that impressed me the most was the people at the Museums and also at the Theaters. I was looking for different events to assist over my stay and many of them were fully booked. From independent art expositions to theatrical plays people really seem to be into the cultural movement.
